Halloween is always fun for the kids who have the chance to get creative with their monsterish fancy dress costumes and themed parties. There’s no better time for a Monster High DVD to be released… This Halloween everyone’s favourite student monsters at Monster High can be watched in the first feature film of the popular Monster High™ franchise.
The film ‘Monster High™: Ghouls Rule’ is available on Blu-Ray & DVD in time for Halloween from 8th October 2012.
I never really understood the fascination of Halloween until in 2002 I arrived in Los Angeles on Halloween’s night and was ‘dragged’ dressed as a witch (not difficult for me!) from house to house with a bunch of kids. Well, I must admit I LOVED it and since them I have made sure I celebrate this crazy marketing-driven monsterish evening every year! Equally I did not understand all the fuss about the Monster High dolls, until I had one in my hands: they are so pretty and cute despite being monsters. You would not be surprised now to hear that I actually got myself a few 🙂 Crazy I know!
Monster High™: Ghouls Rule features the monstrously memorable characters from the famous freaky High School on their mission to win back Halloween after years of staying inside and shying away from celebrations. After learning that ghouls and “Normies” once loved to spend Halloween together Frankie Stein and her pals decide to turn back the clock and use the night to celebrate their ghoulish individuality.
Joining Frankie Stein on her quest is the perfectly-imperfect Draculaura, Clawdeen Wolf and Abbey Bominable – all daughters of history’s legendary monsters. With their killer hairstyles, freakish fashion and super talents the girls are fearlessly determined to win back 31st October for its rightful cause.
Teenage girls across the country will be able to relate to the awkward and unavoidable moments the teen monsters experience throughout the feature length, CG-animated film. Staying true to the monster motto, the film encourages fans to “Be Yourself. Be Unique. Be a Monster™.”
