DVD Review: BARBIE: PRINCESS CHARM SCHOOL was released on 29 August 2011 by Universal Pictures UK – RRP £14.99.
The perfect girlie movie for the start of a new school term. A sort of School Cinderella with Barbie as the star. If this made me dream a bit and go back to my childhood memories, I can’t even imagine how charming this would be for a little girl.
Our favourite fashion doll Barbie returns in true Princess style. Barbie: Princess Charm School is the must-see family animation and latest addition to the magical film series. Barbie stars as Blair Willows, a kind-hearted girl who is chosen to attend Princess Charm School.
It’s an amazing place where princesses in-training learn formal dancing, tea party etiquette and proper princess manners. Blair loves her classes, her helpful magical sprites and her new friends, Princesses Hadley and Delancy. When royal teacher Dame Devin believes Blair resembles the kingdom’s missing princess, she goes out of her way to keep Blair from having any chance of claiming the throne. Blair, Hadley and Delancy must reveal the enchanted crown they found and prove the true identity of Blair in this magic-filled princess story!
