On Talking Pictures ….. Robert Redford talks Pete’s Dragon

A true Hollywood legend comes into land on this week’s edition of the Talking Pictures podcast.  Robert Redford takes up The Big Interview hot seat to talk about his latest movie, Pete’s Dragon – the first film he’s ever made for Disney.  The new live action re-make of the 1977 animation is released this week and is also in the spotlight, alongside new releases Wiener-Dog, documentary Ingrid Bergman In Her Own Words and Valley Of Love.

Film Review: Maggie’s Plan

After the riotous comedy of Absolutely Fabulous:The Movie last week, this time it’s the turn of something more sophisticated and definitely more American. Maggie’s Plan is released this Friday, certificate 15, and comes from director/writer Rebecca Miller, who is married to Daniel Day Lewis, as well as being the daughter of legendary playwright Arthur Miller.

London Mums’ resident film critic, Freda Cooper, found out whether the film goes according to plan.
