My little girl’s homework last weekend was to create a poster about Fairtrade. I think she did a great job. The only thing that was missing was we ran out of time to write about child slavery and how they are mistreated by farmers.

Make your own Bratz doll Bumblebee costume pattern & mask

Yesterday I was trying to create a butterfly pattern for the Bratz doll to sell on Ebay, when it all went horribly wrong (or did it?). The butterfly mask ended up looking like a bumblebee. As I am one of those fluke people who just goes with the flow, I thought oh well, I may as well make a bumblebee costume pattern instead.

Children’s game Bubble Head Balloons

Little Snowflake comes up with the most amazing little character ideas. There she was sitting in the kitchen blowing up balloons. I was just washing up and then suddenly she said “Mummy what do you think of this?” There before my eyes I saw two balloons stuck to each other. One little and one big! It looked like a balloon bomb.
