The new production marries traditional theatre, including an original musical score, with an innovative use of illustrations from the book projected onto the cinema screen.  A multi-sensory theatrical experience combining music, interactive props, audience participation and creative lighting, Up & Down will keep all members of the family entertained, but is particularly suitable for babies and children up to the age of 7.

Ga Ga Theatre, the new theatre company behind Up & Down, wants to make a trip to the theatre as stress-free as possible, bringing high quality theatre to the doorsteps of London families and creating a relaxed environment for all.

Up & Down is a funny yet touching story about the importance of friendship and reaching for one’s dreams, which speaks to all ages. The new stage adaptation will bring the book to life in unexpected and innovative ways while remaining true to its original spirit, and Oliver Jeffers’s beautiful story-telling and illustrations.
