Cavan Bakery asked locals to nominate their favourite picnic spots to visit over the warmer days to come.

Cavan Bakery, an independent artisan bakery founded in 1929, has revealed the top three picnic spots in the South London and Surrey regions, as voted by locals themselves.

With a very wet July now behind us and the arrival of warmer, sunnier days, a picnic is just what we need to lift the spirits!

The top three picnic spots voted by locals were:

Richmond Park
Virginia Water Lake
