London Mums Magazine was invited to Wisley Christmas Glow Walk at RHS Garden Wisley (located at Wisley Lane, Woking, Surrey, GU23 6QB). Wisley was a glorious spectacle of ever changing lights on their Christmas 2022 Glow Walk.
We arrived and managed to park very easily in the huge car park, its only a short walk from there to the main entrance where staff were very helpful in directing us to the main Christmas event.
Extremely well placed the Glow Walk starts in a small food village, where there was everything from Mulled Wine, Curries and donuts to some delicious looking pizza slices.
Armed with a take away hot chocolate (which was delicious), we started the well signposted walk, we went past amazing trees with an array of different coloured lights, the walkways were nice and wide, great for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
We then walked up the wisteria steps to an archway of fairy lights which was spectacular. As we progressed we popped to the ladies’ toilets, lots of super clean areas specially opened for the event. There were also some further refreshment caravans in case you missed the first round.
We then proceeded to the lake by the huge glasshouses where the main spectacle was, huge fountains of coloured water and exploding fire crackers all set to classical music with lasers just incase the rest wasn’t enough.
You then carry on into the glass houses where all the more exotic plants have been lit up with an array of different colours, stunning.
I chatted to a few local people who had been last year and they all were raving about this year’s display at RHS Garden Wisley commenting how much bigger and bolder it was. Well worth a visit!
