I recently tried new restaurant Coppa Club situated on the Putney Wharf riverfront which is local to me and has one of the most stunning views in London. Coppa Club Putney serves breakfast, brunch, intimate dinners, after-work drinks and daily caffeine fixes, and now offers a welcoming riverside retreat for locals and guests alike to enjoy from morning to night. It’s the perfect venue for me and, as an Italian, I am glad that it serves delicious freshly prepared food including lots of Italian dishes that I would not usually order in London.

This is what my guest and I ordered.
Cocktails:
Aperol Spritz
Whiskey Sour
Starters:
Zucchini fritti (fried courgettes) – I never usually eat them outside of Italy, but I know I’ll go back to Coppa Club for those.
Scottish salmon ceviche (caper and lemon dressing, baby watercress, flatbread).
Main dishes:
Grilled lemon sole (accompanied with peperonata, caperberries, salsa Verde) – The sole was so fresh! I couldn’t prepare it any better myself and I am a good cook.
Coppa Vegan Burger (plant-based patty, toasted seeded bun, vegan mozzarella, lettuce, tomato) served with skinny fries.
Desserts:
Apple and Pear Crumble with Bird’s Custard
Flourless Chocolate Cake (caramelised white chocolate, coconut yogurth)
The portions were big and the staff was lovely led by Sardinian manager Palmiero who allowed us to take our time there from 17,30 to 21. The evening was so pleasant that time went by so smoothly and we had our three course meal with cocktails slowly enjoying the gorgeous view overlooking Putney Bridge. It is sadly rare in London to find the perfect match between great service and fantastic food. Coppa Club Putney gets my top rating and I will certainly visit again.
Coppa Club Putney offers a modern take on British and Mediterranean classics, with favourites such as the Smoked Haddock and Salmon Fish Cake and a fresh Club Caesar Salad. The menu also includes healthy specials with seasonal twists as well as Coppa highlights such as Parmesan Croquettes and Buckwheat and Rye Pancakes. The restaurant offers a great selection of fresh pasta and sourdough pizza, perfect for devouring at any time of day. Diners looking to add further flair to their meals will enjoy the bespoke cocktail menu, with inventive options from the bar including a sweet and aromatic Cookie Old Fashioned and an indulgent Tiramisu Martini.

Those who are lucky enough to nab an igloo booking can order off the exclusive igloo menu, with specials including the truffled wagyu burger and a decadent, warm chocolate fondant with caramelised white chocolate and salted caramel ice cream.
Coppa Club provides an inclusive dining experience by catering to a wide range of dietary requirements, including vegan, gluten-free, and nut allergies.
