London is probably the best city in the world in terms of activities for families and children including lots of free activities and events. We list here lots of initiatives that we believe London Mums and their children from babies to teenagers would enjoy especially at the most entertaining places such as the Science Museum, The V&A, Kew Gardens, Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, Richmond Park, Greenwich, West End shows, the London Eye, the London Aquarium, Kingston upon Thames, Chelsea, SouthBank and so much more.

I just want to let you know about my new discovery of FREE classes for mum and baby at the Tudor Rose children’s centre in Fulham.

It has only been open a couple of years so the wide range of toys are new and there are lots of them.

The staff are fantastic, warm , friendly and helpful. I have done the stay and play sessions which takes place most days but with different focus on different days.

Today’s session even provided a snack half way through. The sessions end with some songs which my little boy, Sebastiano, loves. There is baby massage on a Friday afternoon.

FREE classes for mum and baby

On Monday they have an exercise class for mums wanting to get back in shape with your babies on play-mats close by. This is followed by half an hour with Maria, the nutritionist who gives great advise about healthy eating and weaning your baby. I must admit I was horrified when she weighed me the first session but it certainly made me think before I scoffed down yet another cake!

Especially as I am due to be weighed again soon. It is a great place to get to know other mums and have a fun time with your baby.
