London is probably the best city in the world in terms of activities for families and children including lots of free activities and events. We list here lots of initiatives that we believe London Mums and their children from babies to teenagers would enjoy especially at the most entertaining places such as the Science Museum, The V&A, Kew Gardens, Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, Richmond Park, Greenwich, West End shows, the London Eye, the London Aquarium, Kingston upon Thames, Chelsea, SouthBank and so much more.

Free London: PARTY ON THE PIER SUNDAY 19th JULY 2015 – Chiswick Pier

Come and join London Mums on Sunday 19th July for a fun day on and off the river at Chiswick Pier.
Why not encourage the children to go river dipping? It’s great fun but can be rather muddy! Just bring your wellies, wear appropriate clothes and get stuck in. Meet Thames Explorer Trust at 11.45 at the Pier House.

Amanda in action

Our first FREE boat trip sails at 11.30 from the Pier. “Princess Freda” is a Dunkirk Little Ship and she will be sailing every 45 minutes throughout the afternoon .

The boat trips have very kindly been sponsored by Fullers.

Also on the water and starting at 11.30 will be canoe taster sessions organised by the Canoe Club.

The Pier House and bar officially open at 11.30 when you will be able to browse a great selection of stalls, enjoy lunch from the BBQ, and a drink from the Fullers bar. Hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice creams are also available.
Do come along to relax and soak up the atmosphere by the river whilst listening to our ever popular band Shenanigans.

We are delighted that Amanda’s Action Club is joining us again this year and Amanda will be doing 3 interactive fun sessions with the children at 12.45, 2.00 and 3.00.

Sworn & Co have very kindly sponsored this activity.

Also guaranteed to keep the children happy we have face painting by Cheeky Chops.
Don’t miss this fun family day – put the date in your diary now!
