Covent Garden has announced its calendar of activity to welcome in this year’s festive season.
The official Christmas launch event with the switching on of the Christmas Lights and the reveal of a 60ft tall tree will take place from 6pm on Wednesday, November 6th.
From November 9th, there will be live reindeer in the piazza every Saturday from 12-4pm that you can pet and feed – a classic family favourite, perfect for a Christmas photo moment.
Some of you may recall LEGO’s giant advent calendar installation last year, well this year is set to be bigger and better – all will be revealed on November 14th.
November 18th sees the opening night of Covent Garden’s immersive theatre experience “Once Upon A Christmas” brought alive by acclaimed theatre company Look Left Look Right, it will take the audience behind the scenes of Christmas at Covent Garden, “blending reality and fantasy on an unexpected adventure to reunite Prince Charming and Cinderella”. Perfect for every adult who (wrongly) thinks they have outgrown pantomime! Tickets are available at https://ticket.ltmuseum.co.uk
