We know all too well that having kids can understandably dampen any flames that were once red hot between you and your other half. I am always on the hunt for dancing parties in London. So I was excited to learn about a fun new Kizomba dancing event taking place in the City of London starting from Monday 24th February 2020 – a weekly dance party Kizomba Quarter at the gorgeous cocktail bar Patch East.
The exclusive Chateau Lou Casteou – the South of France luxury dance residence, hosts this exciting event, in conjunction with famed international dance school, Latin Quarter.

Every Monday throughout the year they will welcome dancers from 7pm – midnight, with a class for beginners & improvers, followed by a class for intermediates, at 7.30pm and 8.30pm respectively.
International Kizomba and Lukas Award-winning teacher Christian Jean-Francois will lead the dance team and DJ Mineiro will play uninterrupted Kizomba, Semba, Afrobeat and Zouk, to set the room on fire. Christian is a Kizomba, Semba and Cuban specialist, who has won several awards, including best Kizomba teacher and a prestigious Lukas award.

A launch night event will take place on Monday 24th February, where welcome drinks will be served. Entrance is £10 for classes and party. Patch East is a beautiful cocktail bar and club on Leadenhall Street, just 3 minutes’ walk from Aldgate tube.
At Chateau Lou Casteou’s regular residential dance retreats called ‘Let’s Salsa’, guests can try out different dance disciplines of salsa, bachata, cha cha, kizomba, merengue and semba. The dance programs are led by highly skilled teams of dance professionals. Dancing is complimented by fitness activities designed to improve core and leg muscle groups used in dance. These include core strengthening and fun swiss ball sessions, water and Latino aerobics, boxercise and a tennis workshop. Wine tasting and cocktails are served in the evenings around the pool, followed by elegant dinners and themed dance party nights.
